NHL11

so while NHL10 is one of my favourite games of the last decade, little dribbles of NHL11 information is starting to come out. and from one little picture, showing the new hitting engine, it looks beautiful. they've sorted out the face graphics and...yes! this year it looks like there will finally be BROKEN STICKS!!! its only may but im pumped for september!!

"All-New Real-Time Physics Engine in NHL 11" is the caption to the grab - manifested in this unidentified Blackhawk's asscheck of Pens winger Chris Kunitz. The broken stick adds a small touch of realism not accommodated until now. Obviously, that means EA Vancouver will have to program players to do something without them until they can get back to the bench for a new one.

i bet the broken stick feature will be annoying and happen all too often and at inappropriate times. it's gay they have stopped developing this game for the PC, otherwise i might give it a try again. remember playing the shit out of NHL98

yeah sure it might get annoying, but it cant be any more then the post whistle penaltys/fights on nhl10 or the strange tripping calls you get randomly

there is a massive reason why it just wouldn't work on the pc anymore, because of the analogue shooting system,it really makes the game that much better.

just owe it to yourself to get an xbox, for all the great games which are coming out over the summer

All I see is the same mechanics as NHL94 but with more polygons. It's all the same really. Hockey games never had a realistic flow to me compared to the real game.

there's gamepads available for PC's so that's no reason. main reason there is no PC version developed is that the money is not there. it sucks. i am not that big a gamer that i'd get an xbox. i don't have a tv either.

NHL '94 has to be considered one of the very few best sports games ever made. God DAMN, that shit was awesome. I didn't quit playing it until around 2005.
