Comparable mac software to Goldwave

i'm looking to desecrate some sound waves. i loved that program when i had a pc some years back and haven't found anything like it since. i'm using protools, so if it's a plugin you're thinking of it would have to be RTAS (not VST).

hmm unfortunately none of the Mac audio editors i've use are as graceful as Goldwave. You have Peak which is a commercial program, decent interface but still lacking the workflow smoothness of Goldwave or Cooledit. Then you have Audacity which is free for mac but again the interface is pretty limited compared to Cooledit or Goldwave. So far i've found nothing that is as good as those 2 PC programs

yeah, that's what i was afraid of. i wish Goldwave would just make a mac version; looks like i'm just gonna to have to get my PC running again.. i'll have to look into Peak, though. never heard of it before.
