As I might go to Australia next year with a friend (the pansexualist one), here his a thread for a few question we'd like to ask:

First question : Is the sky really a gradient from dark blue to light blue, with no hint of a cloud ?

serious point here... i went to scotland a couple years ago, and then across europe...

scotland always had some kind of haze about it, even on clear days with no clouds in the sky, looking at hills and whatnot in the distance, the atmosphere never seemed to be perfectly "clear"

i remember as well, in both the UK and europe, planes (like military jets or something) were spraying trails and shit all over the sky, like all the time. seriously, there wasn't a day i can recall where i'd look into the sky and not see some evidence of it. anyway yeah it would then disperse and the sky would end up never being perfectly blue/clear because of all this shit that'd been sprayed everywhere. this was late 2006 though, no idea.

australia, when there's no clouds, the sky is perfectly blue/clear. (which is more frequent than cloudy days, at least here in perth). it's great

Australia is alright, it doesn't really excel at anything at all though.

I think it's just hazy in the uk quite a lot. It's always been like that.... you get lovely clear days sometimes, but more often than not it's hazy - probably to do with high level cloud cover. Doubt very much that anybody is spraying anything over anything.
