So this site claims that it takes 21 days to forge a new habit. Yuu sign up, decide what new habit you want to forge and every day you receive an email asking you if you did what you had to do.

I'm on my first day trying to forge the habit of meditating 20 minutes in the morning.

Let's forge some habits, commit, Watmm.

Good luck with that, it's been years I've been trying and no success so far.

Success at what? Is there a goal beyond your previous description?

it's like new years resolutions. you'll only go through with it if you really want to.

What if a friend would send you a reminder every day, would it also be a life fail ?

that isn't if you have a friend

yeah same lol.

as for forging a new habit, it'd be a laugh to get a reminder to pick my nose every day. doesn't have to be good habits, right?

heard of this before; i think it was a dashing and clever idea to turn it into a web service.

see this:

steve pavlina is kind of a tool, but his blog is good on days when you're feeling demotivated and/or ADD. lots of good ideas.

edit: p.s. one 30 day thing i did was giving up watmm. i made it and promptly started wasting time again
