Working on some fractal visuals but I'm needing a decent open source video editor. Any recommendations?

Might as well post about it even though it's not out yet. A while back it was announced that Lightworks was going opensource. You can sign up here to get emailed news/apply to test it http://www.editshare.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=155&Itemid=203

Last email I got said the beta programme was starting towards the end of June, most likely though they'll be interested in pros testing it out first. Still, worth keeping an eye on if you're into this stuff.
