Access Virus Input Delay

i'm using protools and bussing different input sources (i.e. guitar, electribe, etc.) to the inputs of my Access Virus kC and then on to other effects units. lately i've noticed a slight delay in the monitoring of the input sources, maybe around 50 miliseconds, but definitely enough to mess up recording live playing through effects. i realize i could just record dry then patch to the effects but i'd prefer to be able to record some parts in real time.

midi is not involved at any step, and the problem persists when all other effects units are set to bypass, as well as when i have the input global direct thru turned all the way up on the virus. also, monitoring the input sources without bussing it to the Virus yields no delay.

any ideas?

edit: bubba solved it, all i had to do was decrease the hardware buffer size. feel free to delete thread
