i saw the video for "Tightrope" and I'm quite facinated by this soul/pop musician.

i see she's got a concept EP about a cyborg woman.

anyone know anything about her?

I wasn't impressed by The ArchAndroid.

Hadn't heard 'Tightrope' before but I just watched the video on youtube and I like it. Feels like I've read a few articles over the last few years about her being the "next big thing". I could have sworn the stuff I'd heard from her before was more electro-ish or maybe I'm thinking of J'Davey.

she's pretty awesome. great voice, cool arrangements, nice production.

^^^ this. one of the best albums this year, no doubt. her versatility kinda reminds me of mike patton and his arrangement and song-writing skills, but obvs she's not a rock vocalist. her breadth is pretty astounding.
