more ip chat bugs

ok, i'm using Chrome on Windows 7, and the userlist is really messed up.

when i first enter the room, it's "current" - as in, the users in the list are correct. then if people enter or leave, it doesn't show them in the list. furthermore, the room doesn't always notify you that someone has left / entered the room, and nor do you get a doorbell sound when it decides not to notify you by text in the room.

have emptied cache, no dice.

Yeah I've been trying to tell Joyrex about it and he thinks everything is fine... No matter what browser you use, the userlist doesn't change even if people sign in or out.

The chat is not something I have control over; I am sure other IPB users on other forums have experienced this, so I am sure a fix will come soon. I have personally not had any issues with the chatroom under Windows XP SP3/Chrome 5.0, so perhaps it's a Windows 7-specific issue.

If everyone who is experiencing this (and clearing cache has not solved the issue) could post their browser/OS, I can submit a bug report to IPB about it.

Well, it's an update to the chat software as well, so hence the new features, but apparently also new bugs - that's software for you

i can't even begin to describe how fucked up the chatroom is right now.

the formatting is completely all over the place, to the point where i'd need to take multiple screenshots.

lol, ya. same on my laptop. Windows 7, Firefox 3.63, even after clearing the cache

Bug verified using XP and Firefox 3.5.9. There is no box around the chat text, or scroll bar, and the page is gigantic. And the original reported problem exists too: the page states that there are 5 Online Chat Users but there are only 3 names listed. My diagnosis = "this is fucked up."

i've never had a problem with the latest version on srware iron (fork of chrome) which is what i use every day for chat, but i got on my roommates computer to see what all the fuss was about in chrome and chat was seriously broken. isn't there alternate versions/chat programs that add fabuloso things like moderation (e.g. maximus mischief) and flood control for the die hard chatmmers

anyway, all this tuss started happening after the new version or whatever came out and now people are quitting chat before i can even send them nudes, plz help
