stereolab - not music (16th november 2010) will be the best; either that, or kraftwerk's new one if it actually comes out this year

I'm still saving my number one spot for when the School of Seven Bells album comes out. If it's even half as good as the live stuff I've heard, album of the year for me.

EDIT: 5 tracks in on the new Ellen Allien album and I have a good feeling this is gonna go on the list, too.

It's funny when I think about it, this year has been great for new releases so far and I've been pleased with the releases, but there isn't one that's jumping out as mega-awesome for me. Everything's pretty much sitting at a personal rating of 4 out of 5. Which is fine, that's good music. Eventually one will rise, I assume (I doubt I've listened to any one 2010 release more than 5 times). Or maybe it hasn't been released yet, or I just haven't heard it yet.

What's the album name? Lots of hits come up for Emeralds, but nothing that appears to be what everyone's referring to here. Unless it is indeed an awe inspiring polka artist, which would be fucking awesome.
