Discovered this by accident in the youtube thread, I think.

Love the upright bass.

These guys make beautiful music. I saw them live in a concert hall a few years ago and it was tear worthy. They had some guest vocalists too - very very good.

Most of the stuff from that album is recycled material from "Every Day". Get that one too.

i liked them better before they turned into a full fledged jazz band. Their early 2 albums have a very impressive mysterious grey area effect where you can't tell what's being plundered/sampled or what's being played live (by the musicians in the band)and just cutup. It was the first album i ever heard that juggled these two concepts together so beautifully, now people do this shit all the time. Back when i first heart 'motion' i found it extremely groundbreaking.

definitely some good stuff here that first youtube had some moments that were a little too jazzy in a slightly cheesy way, first track Awepittance posted is pretty good trip hopish. I will definitely check these cats out again in the near future
