Deepex
I'd say start with Harmony In Ultraviolet or Radio Amor. Both are great releases. Guest Enter a new display name
Radio Amor and Harmony In Ultraviolet both come first in mind. I prefer Radio Amor for its strong nostalgic/melancholic atmosphere, though (see the video posted by Deepex above). encym
On first listening to the snippets, I would have favoured Ultraviolet and Country over Radio. A mistake? ManjuShri
Haunt Me, Haunt Me Do it Again was my first and what made me fall into love with him, HMHMDIA is the most freeform in structure, next is Radio Amor, and finally Harmony in Ultraviolet is pretty standard rhythmically but still great. Personally those are the only output of his that I like so deffo give those a shot and go on from there. The first Hecker I heard was Mirages so I still sort of like it the best. encym
Ordered Haunt me from Alien8. Let's see how long shipping takes, but I've got the mp3s anyway. Guest Enter a new display name
As I re-listen to "100 Years Ago" and "200 Years Ago" from An Imaginary Country, it reminds me of the Vuvuzelas used by the crowd in the World Cup. This should be FIFA 2010's theme song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xdz2Vps5iXg Edited June 20, 2010 by Enter a new display name Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/57276-tim-hecker/#findComment-1355417 Share on other sites
