martial canterel

never a huge fan of minimal wave but have really been getting into it lately. this particular artist in NY is nothing short of AMAZING. i honestly have not heard anything this well done and exciting in years. not sure how many people have heard him or are into these styles of music but it's worth checking out. he records under a few different names, also as 1/2 of Xeno and Oaklander.

the music is heavily synth-driven and his setups are intense and full of all the classic analogues we all love. he is a superb player and profoundly expressive. lots of arpeggios and sequenced synths with live playing, along with typically uptempo drums and dark reverb drenched vocals.
