rc stands for roll call... i found it on another board that mostly sucks but i like their meme rc

e.g., you might title a thread "rc: listening to move of ten" and posters would reply "signed"

and then possibly extrapolate on why they are able or willing to sign, is this gay and/or cool?

isn't a roll call something where you say "present"? I've never been involved in a roll call that required a signature.
