But, what the fuck?! Stevens-Johnson? That is some seriously rare shit--I would've called out a cardiovascular take-down due to his extreme height. SJS?! Apparently he contracted it while having dialysis treatments in Sudan. Not so far fetched when you think of the bacteria that could build up on hospital equipment while in an underdeveloped nation. fuck, i wouldn't ever want to go to the hospital if I was shot or stabbed. I'd rather a vet suture me up in a barn or on a rusty metal butcher table before stepping in to half the hospitals in the US, for fear of getting some kind of infection.

Oh yeah and be the next carrier for some exotic disease that's decided it's time to hop the species barrier.

RIP. I used to love watching him play in the NBA, especially when the camera pulled back a bit. It seriously looked like someone animated a stick figure into the game to block shots and rebound. Totally surreal.

Anyone remember those SNL skits in the 90's that featured him?

Yeah, terribly sad, honestly. He was the butt of many jokes for half a dozen years in the NBA and he took it all in stride while being an incredibly dedicated humanitarian. So young.
