Crysis is quite fun until you get to the alien part. No drywall but you can maximum strength throw Koreans at/through corrugated steel shacks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KK6Fo3Y0AU ARMA2 lets you create ridiculous scenarios with its editor. Team Fortress 2 isn't that hardware intensive but it's a good way to lose lots of time out of your week. It's the kind of game you can hop on for 10 minutes and have a quick match while you've got something in the oven too. Could be a pile of little fun games you've missed as well like Braid, World of Goo, VVVVVV as mentioned. Zeno Clash was a really good one imo. very original.
