We should all be well proud!

Reading Thom Yorke's office charts for the last year I've noticed something: RDJ's music appears FAR more often than anyone else's. So it's probably fair to say that RDJ is Thom's favourite 'musician'. In other words: the music we're all into is arguably the main influence on the main creative force behind Radiohead who are arguably the most critically and popularly respected band in the world. How cool is that! It's like being into Galina Ustvolskaya when everyone else is listening to Shostakovich (who apparently said: "It is not you who are influenced by me; rather, it is I who am influenced by you" (sorry, couldn't resist the name drop))!

So congratulations to you all for being open minded enough to appreciate properly original music, and not the mawkish filtered down crap from Radiohead! Although in fairness, like Shostakovich, their music has plenty of goodness... but it's not as pure!

I'll be proud when I make something half as good as AFX. Until then I don't think Ive much to be proud of.

but in conclusion The Aphex Twin is great. we can all agree on that point.

Given that Mr. Yorke wrote "Anyone Can Play Guitar" as a diss at his girlfriend fancying and being impressed by Jim Morrison, I'm wondering what disses will be written for girls who fancy and/or are impressed by Aphex Twin?
