mpc1000 for $255??

So there's an mpc1000 right now on ebay for under 300... I'd really love to get one and this is within my price range, but I'm skeptical as they are normally like 900. It's the older blue and red one. Are those crappy or something?

used ones go for 300-400. the other day I saw a mpc2000xl at a guitar shop for $450.

The older ones, those blue and red ones, are supposed to develop problems with the pads. Fixable, but you might have to buy new pads, replace the old ones and all that hassle. Maybe they've already been replaced. The biggest problem though, is that the colours just look awful in today's obsidian bedroom studios.
