Venues in Detroit/Ann Arbor

Can anyone recommend some venues in Detroit or Ann Arbor which might be nice to check out? I'm in the area for a few weeks now and would like to catch something, if anything worth catching presents itself. Last summer I missed Daedelus in Detroit and Clark played in Detroit a few days before I came to Michigan this summer.
