zazen
So I went to see They Might Be Giants on Saturday in London, and what should I see swimming beautifully around the hall before the concert? None other than the Festo Bionic Air Penguin (previously on watmm) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIcayu6sriI oh and also a jellyfish http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zoOGgkhgHE The way these things move is beautiful, because they really are swimming through the air, and so the movement looks very natural. I hear the penguin can be left in autonomous mode, and it will swim around the space on its own using sonar to navigate. I think on this occasion it may have been under remote control. The penguins are still at the RFH in London this weekend I think if you want to see them.
