Remember the Bionic Penguin?

So I went to see They Might Be Giants on Saturday in London, and what should I see swimming beautifully around the hall before the concert? None other than the Festo Bionic Air Penguin (previously on watmm)

The way these things move is beautiful, because they really are swimming through the air, and so the movement looks very natural.

I hear the penguin can be left in autonomous mode, and it will swim around the space on its own using sonar to navigate. I think on this occasion it may have been under remote control.

The penguins are still at the RFH in London this weekend I think if you want to see them.
