Yes, I know it's riddled with cheats, but there is something mesmerising about this sport, maybe in the same way that watching a car crash is mesmerising. I know nothing about cycling, but what they put themselves through seems remarkable. Ireland's Nicholas Roche got the no. 1 on his team in only his second Tour, which is outstanding.
