Google Search suggestions

is there some sort of text editor or something that has a system similar to google's search suggestions, but for general predictive texting? Cause isn't it kind of obvious that when i type "Ingmar B" in a mail, i actually mean "Ingmar Bergman"? So why do i have to go the extra mile and type it out? It is 2010 damn it,

lol. such a system requires pretty massive databases. google can do it because, well, they've indexed most of the content on the web. why should everyone's computer ship out knowing who ingmar bergman is? it's obvious to you because ingmar resides somewhere within your corpus of knowledge, but brains are very different than computer processors of the day! the trend is pointing towards centralized computing -- you may get your wish sooner than you think!
