i'm going to share a poem i wrote last nite

magnificat/version.

razor wit oh how you left me down

the stairs counting shouting con-

necting the dots i always want to

paint you and absorb your mercies

tender and vibrant like a gauguin

simplicity ever abide with my kin

allowing all alliterative sex and

when would we adventure to resist

the slow impulses of a generative

and altogether mind-numbing aeon?

but i am firm i dream away cities

that have never known love or the

dark of their nights that remains

uninviting to anyone with a heart

please lift me up into the light;

one time spinning i thought i was

meant to remain and further black

not redeemed & begging the quest-

ions an infinity of good purposes

nevertheless aging growing bolder

as the sun will sometimes rise in

the west i am following the mach-

inery of your scintillating force

raised up again like unto the sea

of fire with the rare noble glory

& when i was a child i spake as a

child i thought as a child i und-

erstood as a child but when i be-

came a man... i put away childish

things... we have faith together.
