To be spat or laughed at ?

Recommended Posts

Guest Monumrnt

Dear Watmm folks,

Please do not take this question as anything personal or anything that could have a double meaning (or to be read between the lines). This thought has occurred to me a few days ago and I simply have no answer...

Lets say that you were in a situation that you had to choose...

Would you be rather spat (no saliva, just cursed) or laughed at?

Which one do you think is worse, and why?

Thank you kindly for your answer and possible justifications of your choice.

Yours,

Monumrnt

I'd rather be spat/cursed at. If someone laughs at you then you can't really laugh back at them, can you?

Hmm... I could try, but I think I got the point. It might not have a "heart" involved as much as spitting at someone from the bottom of your stomach (somewhere around the heart area); unless I laughed fanatically and then simply laughed at their reactions...

Spat at with no saliva? Why didn't you just say cursed at.

I really couldn't care less to be honest. If it was someone I knew then being cursed at would probably be worse because I'm always doing stupid shit anyway.

whats the point of being spat with no saliva?

THAT should be the issue here

Well, there can be saliva but the spit does not need to reach you, or someone can make that spitting sound and motion directed at you, but without using any saliva...

I think I have clarified it now :whistling: --.

like if someone were to look at you and go "pssssh!" as if to say a trendy insult like "as if!" or "smelly lemon!"?

Smelly lemon !!?!? :cerious:

Isn't that how penicillin was developed? :mu-ziq:

Except for the allergies it can cause, I do not see how such an honorable find can ever be insulting to anyone!
