Hi guys

I just downloaded freeverb from this page

How the hell do I install it? I've got to do an electroacoustic composition and my idea is to compose reverbs on a piano, record them, manipulate them in spear and apply them to concrete sounds so the pitches come through. I think i know how to do all this but i just can't get the plugin on my list for cubase and there seems to be a crazy amount of program files to choose from. I already installed SIR but it doesn't seem to be able to use impulse responses of the length i require. I tried it out once on a Mac with sonic birth, which did the job perfectly but I've only got a PC laptop to work with... and it's due in a couple of days, so i'm hoping freeverb will do the trick.

Anyway, thanks!

First download the CPU checker on the top of the page here - http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeverb3/files/freeverb3_vst and it'll tell you which version is best for you to download.

Then on that same page download the particular VST relevant to your CPU (for me it recommended http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeverb3/files/freeverb3_vst/2.5.0_x86_32bit/freeverb3_vst-fast-SSE-singleprecision-win-2.5.2.zip/download ), unzip and put that folder in your VST directory. Just tried it in Buzz now and came up on the VST effects menu list.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
