this is a crazy analogue way to do drums. if you had the time to prepare good tape loops you could do wonderful things with it i'm sure

it's interesting, i had a similar idea once but abandoned it due to requiring a tape loop with constant 16th notes of each drum.. kinda useless if you can't change the tempo!
