Question for Logic users on Mac

Recommended Posts

I've always used Logic 5.5 on PC but a couple of weeks ago I bought a new Mac and Logic 9. Now, one thing that has been bothering is the fact that when I use the Piano Roll I used to be able to scale down the hits according to the grid (I hope this is making sense) but I have no idea how to do this in Logic 9.

In this picture I've set it to 1/64 and the grid makes this clear visually.

But in Logic 9 the grid stays the same when I set it to 1/64, 1/128 and so on.

set your gride in the transport bar. it will be reflected in all windows. it's under the time signature setting part

/16 = 16th notes /64= 64th etc

Well, its not dickish... It's actually the best advice you can give... Give a man a fish etcetc.

And seeing as there is a built in search help menu, it should be relatively easy to search for the answer. But whatever...

(sorry just kidding thought id be the surrogate dick in a thread like this)

True. But it would have taken me a lot longer to actually find the right article than the four minutes it took for Kcinsu to answer.

really? more than 4 mins to do a search? I really doubt that!

and remember... even batman can't see the bat signal ALL the time...

yes, I just compared myself to batman. :emotawesomepm9:

anyways... I always encourage people to read the manual for every piece of gear they use. not a very widespread philosophy it seems though.
