i'm not against the soccer subforum... but that place will probably be a wasteland until 2014. actually it'll probably produce more traffic than mu-ziq and cylob combined.

i was really into the world cup watching it from beginning to end. i'm hoping that this will continue with other soccer leagues and stuff. because i really only watch soccer during world cup tourneys.

I doubt it, I think there are quite a few Premier League followers on here.

Besides, nothing will be awarded its own subforum unless Joyrex is openly a fan of it. So look forward to a PS3 forum soon!

The current system works remarkably good, really. My blustering rants about movies are all on one big thread, which gives everybody the chance to ignore me with minimal effort. Once in awhile, some movie worthy of its own thread comes out and gets discussed for a week or so.

In other words, I vote No.

Well, yes, movies are far more important than sports to me and in a just world would warrant a subforum just as much. But no, because then general banter would get even more bland. (No offense, general banter, it just gets less interesting every time another subset of the forum population gets transported over to another section and seldom seen from again. Re: LTM forum.)

I can't help but view the football forum as being like the Nonesense/Crap Thread forum... I know that's a horrible thing to say but I guess a better way of putting it is that it would be annoying for most people NOT into football, if there was a bunch of football threads in General Banter.

I think the Movie subforum seems much more warranted being that we discuss film a lot, and it's much more relevant. At least films are art, and most have music in them. But I also think there are possibly too many subforums already...

I vote yes.

I don't think seperating movie threads could make genban less interesting or bland. But I know what you mean, creating dozens of new sections could possibly kill popularity in general as we all love to see a tons of new threads in one subforum instead of few in separated ones, but it's all about one.
