mystery

Hello,

I have a mystery that I need help figuring out. Probably about 10 years ago(maybe longer?), I asked some folks at a local music store to recommend me some musicians/groups that have a similar sound to Jeff Buckley. One of the suggestions was a group that were quite similar to Jeff......especially the lead singer's vocals. I bought just one of their releases and it was on tape. The cover of the tape was a light blue/green and had trees(in black) on it......maybe a swing hanging from one of the trees? I can not find the tape and I really liked the release. This is eating me up inside! I know I'm not giving much to go on, but I know that my esteemed WATMMers are of a different ilk when it comes to id'ing music. Help me out, please!

The singer from the band Ours sounded uncannily like Jeff Buckley at times. I actually thought it was his brother for a while. It's probably not what you're thinking of going from the description of that album cover, but maybe worth checking out anyway. The only album of theirs I've heard is Distorted Lullabyes. It's not a strong album all the way through, but it's got some good moments.
