New Beavis & Butt-head

I've been rewatching the old episodes and it really brings back a lot of fond memories of the 90s. I don't see how a new show would translate well in todays world, plus its on MTV and Extract sucked so it seems like Mike Judge has run his course.

I got the impression that Mike Judge was 'done' with Bevis & Butthead... I guess Viacom's money offers were more appealing than he could resist.

i have vol 2 and 3 on dvd... now i just need 1.

well, most of the videos were stuff that you wouldn't normally see on mtv, anyway.

Sorry. I just found out about this today and I'm pissed that the show will be raped once again. We know Mike Judge doesnt give a shit about retaining too much from the originals, or giving the fans what they want (example:The DVDs). Also, as vasio and nene pointed out, will they like anything?

What are they going to watch? 10 fucking videos?

Part of the novelty of B&B was that they showed weird bands/70sand 80s bands/metal/hardcore rap/and respected bands.

This will be horrible. basically Mike Judge milking this thing (as he should i guess since they fucked him out of a lot of rights)

He cant even release the old episodes properly. I dont expect him to revamp the show with any form of creativity or feel.

Also the type of kids who watch MTV now are a COMPLETELY different breed. The kids who would actually benfit from watching B&B (as I did as a youngster) are probably downloading music right now. and watching videos on youtube.

I'll download 1 episode a give it shot and if it sucks, fuck it whatever right

Idiocracy was good stuff. I haven't seen Extract, just added it to my Netflix queue.

I was a big fan of B&B back in the day. As some have said, one of the great things about it wasn't just the potty humor but that they would watch videos you'd see on the specialty shows like Headbanger's Ball, Yo! MTV Raps, and of course older videos that hardly if ever got any play. I think it could be funny to see them comment on current videos, but most likely this time around it will be really popular stuff so I don't expect to be exposed to anything good. Could still be funny though. We'll see, I'll check it out.
