Trans Canada Highway track time speculations...

So what about the track lengths for the new tracks, what do you guys think? will it be just short interlude type tracks or big regular ones? or maybe a combination..whats your guess? the winner, or the one who comes closest will win a lot of....respect ;)

 

Dayvan Cowboy (I think the same as the original)

 

Left Side Drive (sounds like a full track to me, think it will have nice beats :) dunno why, but let me guess 3:30

 

Heard From the Telegraph Lines (this maybe a interlude but hmm nah...but I hope its a full track, and I think this is the track thats playing right now on the site, hmmm I guess 4:35 :) and hope its like that)

 

Skyliner (this is a bit shorter, 1:55, kinda like sherbet head)

 

Under the Coke Sign (sounding like Macuarie Ridge and Zoetrope, beatless but beautiful and melancholic, 5:55 min)

 

Dayvan Cowboy (Odd Nosdam Remix) (I heard this is 10 min plus!!! EPIC stuff!!)

for the record i think they will all be at least a year long, so they'll probably lose a bit of quality on a double vinyl press.

BoC will personally square it with God so that there are 66 seconds in a minute, thus enabling each track to be 6 minutes and 66 seconds long, apart from the odd nodsam remix which will go on for 3 days.

Don't get me wrong, I'm wearing my BoC shirt right now, have a BoC sticker on my computer, and generally put their music on pretty frequently, but just get fed up with this endless speculation these days. It's like the next generation of BoC fans are suddenly much more annoying, and it sort of turns me off to the whole crowd...no offense.

i'm generally not big on value judgments, but...

 

it's one thing to be excited about the new release, even to wonder/speculate what direction their sound will take. that's all within the bounds of being a reasonably excited fan.

 

but speculating about track lenths is just fucking stupid. i'm sorry, but it's just a big stupid waste of time. threads like these make rest of us look bad. let's also debate the font while we're at it. how about mike's choice of t-shirt? dietary choices? what type of razor do you think marcus uses now that the beard is gone?

No. Not at all. That's just I conserve my BoC sticker. I'm not the kind of person to stick my stickers! Even less if that's a BoC sticker! Twoism is quite expensive for an EP so I keep the sticker new to compensate the high price! :ermm:

I have it from a trusted source that Marcus does not use a razor, rather the power of his mind provides enough suction to keep the hairs inside his face and he uses a gentle exfoliant to reduce any swelling.
