Really don't want to sell this but rather unfortunate circumstances have popped up....on a more positive note I'm sure someone here has been looking for this.

including postage and packaging in the UK, i'm pretty sure it was £33

basically, unless this guy considerably lowers the starting price and gets rid of the Buy It Now, this thing aint gonna sell.

This was selling for 300-600 when it first sold out. I don't think 400 is actually that ridiculous, really. Its basically modern art on every level.

yes. when it first sold out.

nowadays the average going price on eBay has been around £70

currently the cheapest available on Discogs is £99.

enough perspective?

when you decrease the insane asking price, you might also wanna change the item listing to reflect that it is used rather than "brand new", you could get stung by some prick who might claim back costs by paypal as "item not as described"

Yeah I did change that. But whatever, if it doesn't sell it doesn't sell. That's how much its worth to me, regardless what is selling for what is selling right now. Its awesome if it sells and its awesome if I can keep it. Cost like 1.50 to have the auction, even for my financial status right now I can afford a buck fifty.

When I got the CD, I ripped both discs to FLAC format and then put it up proudly in a display case. So the CDs have never actually been played themselves -- i.e. they are perfect.

erm, what?

so the discs have been played, yet they haven't been played?

This is an incredibly rare release. There were only 1,000 copies produced and the artwork was designed by an incredibly notable group -- the one and only Design Republic.

i can't believe i missed that!

to be fair, i think i was completely blindsided by the insane $400 asking price.

DON'T SELL IT YOU IDIOT!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT FOREVER!

Seriously I would never sell mine, not in a million years. It's not like they're gunna start re-making them or something.

I have to admit that I baulked at the price as well (although I got this CD from Warp on release, so I suppose it's easier for me). But if you're hard-up for cash, good luck to you and I hope you make a decent killing. I only hope and pray that I'm never forced to sell any of my records as they're pretty much my lifeblood. My Dad had to do just that years ago and it was a proper wrench for him.

i am surprised no one has framed this case and added a subtle led backlight, would look genious in any modern home. does anyone have this cover in an ultra high res pic? i want to see if i could laser cut some sheet metal at work to make a quality fakeristice.

Considered buying the 150 Euro one for a few days, then I was just about to do so when another allegedly unopened one appeared for £100, so I grabbed that. Seems like a lot, but I'd be surprised to see one for less.

gah! curse my bried unemployedness at time of release. i totally would have bought two copies of it and sold one after 10 years, heh.
