Rubin Farr
i've got a Nord Modular sitting in my upstairs office where it regularly goes above 90 degree F, and wondering if that can damage the circuitry over the long term? it's where all my gear and PC are, so moving it is an option, but it would be useless if i did; basically a decoration. kcinsu
yes it really is a modular synth. a digital modular synth. it's not an analog modular synth. as for the original question... I don't know if it is bad for the synth, but not using it is extremely bad for everyone. Brandi_B
I would store it somewhere cooler, with a dust cover, or just sell it. Dust and bugs are your main enemy (they like dark warm places). Also any kind of condensation from humidity. For the most part though, you should be alright it's just a circuit board, no analog stuff on board to get all wonky.
