Bah, needs constant connection to a data service and $15/year subscription to unlock all the features. I knew it had to be too good to be true ...

I had a nice play with a drum loop for a bit all the same.

You need the persistent connection because the rendering is all done on the backend server. It's annoying to be sure, but it's also 100% necessary.

it felt too detached; but now i know it's for this reason.. I still haven't found anything better though.

No problem! I just finished experimenting with the one "Scene" that it comes with and it's pretty limited what it can do right now, but nevertheless a great idea.

Incidentally I downloaded Uloops. Made one 4-bar beat and then uninstalled it.

Silly rubbish.

Thanks for bringing me some decent ideas, guys. I might put some time into one of these and see what it can do.

I considered taking field recordings on my HTC and maybe putting them into some tracks. I just need to dedicate a little time to it all.

New app, get your analordroid on!: RD3 Groovebox Pretty simple but fun and not as annoying as uloops, hopefully it'll get some more instruments in the future.
