rice is more of a provocateur than anything.. theres certainly aspects to the man that i find abhorrent but hes made some interesting recordings..

i'm co-recording/mixing/performing on an album that has boyd rice reciting a cocktail recipe in one track. i dunno if i should be proud of this or not. i think i'll use a pseudonym in order to not be associated with neo-nazi-esque music.

i dont think i would call non neo nazi esque music.. like i said, i think he just likes to get on peoples nerves more than anything.. but i do think that he possibly rationalizes some of the not so nice aspects of himself. he interests me, but i would call myself a 'fan.' i dont want to sound like an apologist for what is possibly is a hateful world view.

i guess so. he seems like a nice enough guy, as does douglas p (who is also somewhat involved with the project), but i guess the whole neofolk/post-industrial 'scene' isn't really my thing.

while it'd be cool if this project gets widespread attention (at least among boyd rice fans) but i'd be a bit disappointed if it became more successful than any of my solo projects!
