Having been playing a lot of NES and SNES/megadrive games this past week, I do agree that those graphics ain't bad at all :P

Damn, that RE5 screenshot looks like fun.

Some good pics running here (love especially the Bioshock and Mirror's Edge ones), but the thread "If 20-Years-Ago Video Games Were Made Today" would be way funnier - yet technically harder to do...

bioshock looks like a darker metroid in retro version... batman arkham asylum still looks fun too

all of the retro versions of the games look better than the originals

i had bad nostalgia looking at the red dead redemption one, reminded me of gunsmoke

Neat stuff. Especially MGS4, looks more like the Gameboy game than the original NES game.

The Brutal Legend one is definitely the best. It looks like Full Throttle in hell.

It is funny they chose to do mario kart, considering there was a version for snes. The screenshot they used looks like the birds eye view you actually toggle in the game.
