data
i discovered this group today and have already downloaded all their albums, amazingly awesome atmospheric 70's/80's sounding synth/movie music, like a mix between old italian zombie movie soundtracks and vangelis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K65XVKr81ME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRrULd9aOQk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C55j6tbtaU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSBO7f_g9Lk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfwgpdfZa8k can't get enough of this stuff. Guest Apeofnaples
I love them long time now. Surface to Air is an absolute classic. You should also check out Timespan by Majeure (solo album from the drummer). Caretstik
'Surface To Air' is an ace album. I discovered them only recently, thanks to a mix by Moon Wiring Club. awepittance
the composition on all of these Zombi songs is excellent but i'm not feeling that it properly captures 70s production or feel (especially when it comes to the bass guitars and real drums, they sound very modern protools esque). its far too clean sounding and doesn't venture too far away from the template (of trying to be goblin). sounds too much like someone trying to reach Goblin quality (but with no mellotron), but honestly who's going to be able to be a prog master like the? I like some of the youtube videos you posted. Sorry i'm a huge fan of goblin and retro fetishim but i think i hold Goblin too dear in my heart to be open to this at this time.
