I think I'm actually just better when Im drunk.

I just found a track, exported wav and all. While I was sorting out my ableton files.

I have no recollection of making this track but apparently it was back in march. The track is fucking sexy.

I must have been seriously hammered if I dont remember making + exporting it.

Gotta love alcohol.

Its still just a skeleton of a finished track. Also I think I'm gonna stick it on a release I'm working on.

Dont worry though I'll be sure to indicate which it is when I release it.

I meant to say in the OP, share your similar stories. (I mean forgetting about tracks, not making tracks under the influence of substances )

i once woke up to find over an hour of benzo'd-out freestyle vocal jams recorded with my girlfriend the night before. neither of us remembered doing this at all. but the content was great, i've used bits from it in a bunch of tracks since.

I find that it enhances both my good and bad sides. Like a magnifying glass. That's why I try to be drunk all the time.

And also because I don't have the contacts to get all the drugs I really want to be high on all the time, so I turn to alcohol instead.

but you are right. making music drunk is totally awesome from time to time but the main problem is you can't tell anymore if the result is great or not

made a track called TOUCHDOWNMONTANA that i didn't remember at all in the morning. did my fuckin' head in. since then i've tried to remix/polish the track but nothing comes close to the tension created in the original.

it basically ends at ~6 minutes imo but keeps going for some reason.

Ive been going back over my old files and theres a shit load from march that I dont remember making. Ive come to the conclusion that my birthday is in march and that I did quite a lot of celebrating that month. So thats probably why I dont remember.

This other file isnt good though, its quite the lolfest.
