Coppice Halifax (Milieu) - 1983 [Expanded Reissue Cassette]

Thought the WATMM crowd might appreciate this one. I've recently gone back to my session tapes for 1983, which was the very first Coppice Halifax release in 2006, for Project 168 part 2. Already anticipating some remastering, I was surprised to find 5 other tracks that never made it off the tapes four years ago, for whatever reason. Upon reconsideration, and with some gentle mastering work, I pieced it all together into the 120-minute epic cassette expansion you see here. The tape contains all four original tracks, two bonus tracks from the CD-R version that came out on an EED promo, the five new tracks and a live version of "Lake Busbee" from an ambient house party I did in the deep country in February, 2006. I've only made 30 copies of the cassette, and it's also all available digitally in FLAC/MP3/whatever.

that was definately one of my favorite releases of P168 3.

Just listened all the way through. This is my first exposure to Coppice Halifax as well (that I know of) and I really loved it.

Electric Plant, Cmx II, and Sea Smoke [83 Version] ... wow. I also very much enjoyed the live recording at the end. The rest of it is wonderful organic ambiance as well.
