Is anyone going to see Aphex at LED festival

Is there many on the boards going to see Aphex at the LED festival in London, wish I was going but final expenditure for the summer is Electric Picnic.

Most likely here anyhow, some guy on these boards has seen Afx ten times (lucky bastard) and I think he lives in London... his name eludes me right now....

as for me I'll be going down to the Rephlex birthday party, I had my fill of Afx back in June :D

Umming and ahhing... not had an Aphex fix since Matter / Warehouse Project, trying to find a cheap way to go!

also considering it. nearly bought a ticket but been too skint lately... do definitely want to go however. might get my rich mate to get me a ticket lol.

TBH 40 quid is quite good value (a day ticket at Reading festival is double the price). I am the only Aphex nut I know, so it means going on my tod. And I can't be arsed with that.

It is quite a lot of money if you're just thinking about Aphex but there is other stuff worth seeing too. I missed out on the O2 one (that's Matter isn't it?) about a year ago so Bloc with Florian Hecker was the last time I saw Aphex.

My mates are all being umm-ahh about it and not willing to part with the cash so I'm going on my todd as well, so if anyone else is flying solo we can team up and become more powerful than you can possibly imagine, or just drink some beer.

The Bloc and Matter gigs were about as good as each other... pretty great in places, but not the best Aphex sets ever. Though I do like my Aphex stickers I got from Matter!

I had a ticket for that but I moved house that day and by 7pm the last thing I wanted to do was stay up all night. I felt like such an old man.

i got a recording but havent played it back yet. i forgot i had my recorder on me to turned it on half way through, just as it was getting into the hardcore shit. see if i can upload or something later.
