whew. ok. first of all, the kick clips HORRENDOUSLY. I mean the audio cuts out it peaks so bad. watch that shit. the mixing in general makes it really hard to focus on the composition, which has promise, but needs a lot of refinement. little detail help bring parts together, remember that. watch your levels. mix quiet and leave yourself some headroom. What are you using?

Thanks for the feedback man, yeah, my hard drive died a few days ago and i lost about 60 tracks, everything i've ever worked on nearly, i think it's effecting my work. I didn't really notice about the kick clipping, but the mixing is pretty horrible i admit, need to look at that.

I'm using fl studio and reason. Glad you think the composition has promise atleast, thanks man

Yeah, I'd say work on the mixing a lot. listen to it on different systems so you can get a feel for what works and what doesn't. what kind of speaker setup are you working with?

A lot of clipping on the kick drum fo sho, but I do like the synth work you have going on there. The overall mix feels really claustrophobic ad kinda muddy. In my opinion there could definitely be more volume differences between sounds... unless that's what you're going for, in which case well done.

Thanks man, yeah gonna do a new mix, see if i can clear up the clipping and make it less muddy. I'm mixing on headphones at the minute, could be part of the problem i'm not sure.
