Bibio!!

When i searched for Bibio on the forums i didn't even get a single hit, he has never been mentioned on the forums.. how come is that? the guy is a masterpiece! i love almost every song he's made

Anyway, at first I wasn't sure about this guy, didn't really see the appeal. But over the past year I've grown to love Ambivalence Avenue. I've only played Fi once I think, and haven't listened to The Apple and the Tooth yet but I snagged it just the other day.

To my ears Ambivalence Avenue is without a doubt one of the finest albums of the last decade, and yet I'm woefully unfamiliar with all his other albums... one day I'll know better.

Love bibio. All his albums are brilliant (including the ultra radicial recent shift in style, and still coming out awesome).

i remember hearing ^ this track being played at modey's on a compilation, and flipping out not being able to work out what it is. it's pretty much a boc track, no? :P

Essential, yeah. The guitars are a bit busier/jazzier than BoC guitars, but the production is pretty spot on. That's something I've always liked about Bibio, his production. There are some solid tracks on Ambivalence Ave, but for the most part I thought the album was pretty weak.

I actually agree, i think Ambivalence avenue is his weakest album, i love like 1-3 tracks but the rest is just not interesting for me, but his production value is spot on on every album!

Anyone know if he has any live sets or mixes floating about?

Search seems quite gammy at times for me.

i've noticed the default search setting is set to Help Files, which is no good.
