I can't fucking wait for it. This must have been the record I've been waiting for the most this year. And it has Neko, Dragonfly, Hyperthrust and Beast Nite on it. The minimix sounds so fucking awesome. And it drops on my birthday. I. Can't. Fucking. Wait. I'm ecstatic right now.

Woah, this guy is signed to Warp? I've had him added on myspace for ages, never even knew that. That's awesome. I love his stuff. & this new stuff sounds spectacular!

yep in some ways Rustie is probably the most talented of the LuckyMe lot, he's also probably got the best sense of quality control as pretty much everything he does is killer. I'm really excited about this.

I've looked into get down for it, but it's a no-go unfortunately. Saw Dam Funk at glasto and he's fantastic. That show will be mega!

Yeah, I might check out this EP but the sound doesn't appeal to me all that much.

I did enjoy HudMo's EP though, but the album samples sounded bad to me so I never listened to it.

check out the HudMo album, the killer bits outweigh the weaker bits.

HudMo and Rustie go back a long way and are members of the LuckyMe collective, their whole sound is quite similar, and quite unlike anything else about at the moment.

yea i liked Polyfolk Dance EP. my biggest beef with 'Butter' is it's so fucking bright. it murders my ears with its intense treble. it's like HudMo has serious hearing loss and thinks it sounds mastered right or something...? does anyone else find 'Butter' overly bright?

this sounds like he's abandoned a lot of his juicy wet synthesis vibes and gone for a more silly hyper color Butter hudmo feel.

i do, but that's part of the enjoyment it's over the top

I've liked a lot of Rustie's previous output but yeah this shit sounds like HudMo's Butter, which I wasn't really a fan of. Oh well, I'll still give it a try.

I've been a bit skeptical of Rustie, but I think it's only fair to give this EP a spin when it surfaces. Something tells me I'll be pleasantly surprised.

the 'dregs' promo by Rustie should change anyone's mind on if he is any good or not....

This mini album is really good, and I am so happy, I got this after the vhs head which was great for me as well...

absolutely love it. it's hyper and loud and the missus can't stand it.. but it's right up my street.

i saw him live last friday on a drunken whim. was great to hear his stuff on a sound system and the tracks on his new ep are quite good, i love how you can tell he just did not hold back on the tracks. however i was expecting something more like zig zag as that track is super grand.

I like it. It's quite fun.
