Well, how big (in square feet or meters) is the place where you live?

the equvilent of that (price wise) in the south east of England would probably be a small 2 bed flat with a small lounge/kitchen/diner space and 1 bathroom/toilet.. and no garden. maybe a parking space if you're lucky.

they don't call it "rip off Britain" for nuthin! :(

My current apartment is between 950-1000 sq/ft, with a patio almost the same size.

My apartment that I'm moving into next week is between 650-700 sq/ft, with no patio.

This is exciting.

I live in a 2,900 sq ft. loft apartment that has five bedrooms and a kitchen attached to the main cavern.

I have four additional roommates and the monthly cost is not too bad.

The kicker is that the entire place is uninsulated which makes living in the winter unbearable because there is no way to fill all of the space and retain heat. I'm currently in negotiations with my landlord to split my electrical bill for the winter.

last place was fairly big tho. loft space. but again, dunno exactly how big.

i like Chinese food like noodles, and chickens.
