ElChemso makes it to 2010, and moves to city life

So I dropped my faithful Sony Ericsson w760i on the way to a fire call the other week, smashed the screen housing. So I decided to buy a new case from hong kong, turns out you can't disassemble the phone with out breaking it. So it was broken.

I haven't bought a upto date, latest greatest phone ever, I had the w760 for 2+ years and it wasn't new when I bought it.

So I splashed out on a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro, I've seen iphones but could never get along with the texting on screen, I'm sure I'd have got the hang of it in the end, but this phone has a full QWERTY keyboard. Its super cool, i'm totally blown away by it I've been behind the times for so long its sort of like I've been time travelled into the future.

And I got accepted into Nottingham Uni to do Computer Science, (I already have my results being 23 you see) so I'm moving to Nottingham with my gf so its all change. I'm packing up my FireFighting and exchanging it for a computer at this funky looking place:

You can use the phone to text all your student mates like "OMG mate wen is da comp sci homework due in LOL!?"

Lol yeah. I'd have been like the kid on the first day of school who turns up in second hand uniform if I'd gone to computer science with that old phone.

Good luck dude, sure you'll piss the course. But your thread also made me sad, I'm mad keen to return to Nottingham (which is an awesome place) but won't be able to for a good while because of work commitments.
