It sounds sweet as hell but i haven't been much of a fan of FL, i love GNG BNG!! but a lot of his songs are just to abstract or something, i love the originality about him but some stuff just aren't appealing, looking forward for this ep though

just googled for that track that is supposed to be on mixtape IIOIO but this does not appear in the discography and some pages on google say its fake, do you know more about it? is that mixtape IIOIO some early leak?

i love flying lotus but a big part of me thinks hudson mohawke will prove himself to be the greater artist with some time. butter is underrated

agreed. Hudson has evolved a lot quicker as well, you may not like Butter but compare it to his earlier stuff and it's quite different in execution. Flying lotus seems very addicted to smashing the shit out of all his music with compression which i think for me personally detracts a little bit from it reaching it's full potential.

Hopefully he takes some infulence from Madlib in that collab he's said to be working on with him, might fix a bit of the compression addiction, Madlib's production on the Beat Konducta and Medicine Show series latey has been pretty ace.

Yeah, that sums it up. There were a lot of Flylo mixtapes/leaks/bootlegs around: 2006 demos, Melbourne Red Bull tracks from 2007, "Raw Cartoons," "July Heat" before Los Angeles was released.

be careful with warp/bleep these days. that "poster" might be a 4" x 6" postcard with uneven trimming.
