Squee
So last night I was working on a remix for someone here on WATMM. It turned out pretty damn cool but all of a sudden Logic crashed. 'Whatever', I thought and started Logic again and loaded my save file. I played 8 seconds of the track and Logic crashed again. It just freezes and shuts down and it does this with all the auto saves, and all the old save files (even the very first one I created which means that it probably isn't a plug in that causes Logic to crash). I don't feel like starting all over because I have put so much work into the automations and I won't be able to recreate it. Do any of you have any idea what I can do so save my project? Is there some way of importing every single detail from one of my saves into a new project? I've tried using the import function which just ended up with me scratching my head. Help! Guest wake
Have you tried disabling some of your plugins? It might be that one of them has gone awry. Squee
Another thing is, I've tried bouncing the tune in offline mode but that causes it to crash as well. Guest wake
Maybe try freezing all the tracks? Or perhaps bounce in place? Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/58903-saving-a-damaged-logic-project/#findComment-1397484 Share on other sites

Maybe you can fix it, copy and pasting some data? Could you elaborate on that? Btw. I'm on a Mac. awepittance
i don't have a solution to your problem but this is the 2nd time i've heard of Logic corrupting an entire string of saves. I've never heard of a program ruining earlier iterations of your session like that. edit: yeah when all else fails remove NI plugins, they are the most bug prone mother fuckers in the plugin world at the moment. I'm surprised it was massive though that's considered one of their 'stable' ones Edited August 19, 2010 by Awepittance Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/58903-saving-a-damaged-logic-project/#findComment-1397792 Share on other sites

I've fallen in love with TAL Elek7ro. Boxus
cheers on the troubleshooting, i used to get a lot of similar problems in logic 8 and at least once it seriously destroyed a project i was really getting into. 9 has been a lot more stable so far though. elek7ro is awesome, i've just been getting into it too. automat is still my favorite au synth for sure, though it can be pretty buggy when you have a few complex mod envelopes goin on Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Boxus's signature Hide all signatures art Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/58903-saving-a-damaged-logic-project/#findComment-1398898 Share on other sites
