I'm happy with the content and with the integrity of the members.

Bonerific. No riced out yugo but much better than it.

I'm not really seeing anything too compelling in any of these forums. The threads and their content all seem pretty light and non-specialized, which is what I'd expect from a forum trying to tackle such a broad range of topics. Also, it seems like there's very little activity. Some of the most recent threads are quite old.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but I just don't see communities as - I'm not going to say great - defined as this one. That is to say, despite all of the irreverent and useless posts on here I think I prefer this place to any other forum I've seen.

It must be hard to foster any kind of significant community online. Any comments on how to build one, Joyrex?

That being said, could anyone recommend any alternative forums with relatively well developed communities as this one?
