ambient IDM track from rude_NHS

in response to the feedback i got from gippo4 i thought i'd post one of my more musical break tracks from my new album. hope you dig.

this is really nice m8, crisp, flows well and is perfect for the sunny weather today. got this blasting through my big system and it sounds wonderful.

Yep, I'm really into this one too... no lovely sunny day here, just overcast grey with a strong wind, but with nothing but sports on all 4 main channels, this track was an excellent refuge for five minutes with a cup of tea. Not really ambient as such but I know what you meant :laughing:

At first I wasn't too sure with the opening chords cause I didn't really like the patch, but once the track built up it took its place and made sense. Beats are extremely well done and the breakdown half way through with vocoding is excellent, I fucking love vocoding.

I knew this was gonna be good, ..

chords sound fresh, - lovely harmonies - you play an (or more) instrument(s) right?

drums are sick, with the tight decayed out reverb-work in the middle part -

vocoder fits like hand in glove -

fx-fuckery on the drums might be abit loud in parts - but thats a personal choice thing stuff like yeah ..

you know how tou handle the musics .. post more pleeze - and or keep us informed on the album ..

+ some wicked breakment, very polished production, tight.

– the track itself is pretty basic, the main musical elements don't really progress very much. nice, but room for loads more to go on.

I like the way you review tracks, with the plus and the minus. Very balanced!

The percussion's excellent, like, really good; however, the melodies, to be blunt, are quite boring.

percussion is awesome, i like the sound of it a lot. it flows really well, but like mushroom said the melodies are kind of boring. needs more going on music wise, to tie in with the percussion.

anyway, i'm over whelmed by the response i've been getting from these tunes, but i didnt post it here for comments, i posted it here because other members wanted to here more of my stuff.

People commenting on your music is kind of the whole point to this forum.

But anyway, some good break fuckery, but the melodic side leaves a bit to be desired. Some bass tones might add some dynamics. Maybe some high trebly tones. I like that echo effect you got there.

yeah your quite right. didnt mean to get anyones back up. have really dug the response i've been getting.
