I nabbed a copy. I probably won't like it so if anyone misses out keep an eye on eBay, it'll be on there for £300 or so a week after it's out.

I love Atavism!

I really couldn't stand Atavism. I listened to it right through three times at different levels of inebriation (sober, lightly out of it, post-club wrecked) to see if I needed to be at one particular state and it annoyed the hell out of my ear drums every time. For me it was 16 tracks of 'Clang, clang, clang, crk-crk-clang crk-clang [repeat]' - an hour of Sonic hitting those bumper things and diamonds during the special stages of Sonic 1.

This must be what Autechre sounds like to my friends.

Preordered now. I'm surprised they're still available. Warp can learn a lesson from this: look at the price and quantity... this is how to do a properly limited release.

Atavism goes down really well with Jameson.

I'm pumped about this one... SND are usually more focused with their shorter releases.
