Juke Nukem - Jukelear Bombs: Da Futurejuke Warfare

I'm not too sure on who was here for the first EP by the rap group Juke Nukem, "Jenk'em", but it can be found here, and I suggest you listen to that one before you make your ears legendary with this one. There is also a short history of the group there, as well:

Back to the new EP:

I've just received this from Penetrator, the producing half of Nukem, and it's quite a ride. There is much more focus on the song as a whole; it seems that the rapper has stepped back some and allowed the beats to flesh out even more, creating a full experience for the listener. It's extremely experimental, taking cues for braindance, house, techno, glitch, and even some '60s soul in places. A little longer than the previous album, but something's different about this one. It just reeks of creativity, almost as if they were daring themselves to do something completely new from their old songs. I hear the word "Future Juke" quite a bit in the album (obviously), but it's spoken as if it's a new genre, which it very well could be.

But enough talk from me, enjoy the high-powered beats and liquid lyrics from the best duo of 2010.

Had to listen one more time before I went to bed, just insane. The little instrumental sections really bring out the EP's worth, the beats version of Juke Outro threw me upside down

dude, i have to be completely honest. i get joke music, i get taking the piss... i get contrarian style and wanting to be some sort of statement of performance art against, well, something. i understand all of that.

still tho, this music is just downright awful. i could get into why, but then again, that would feed the trolls and give them exactly what they want.

you know what? i have to apologize to juke nukem, as when i first made that disparaging comment i had yet to embrace a lifestyle based in swag.

i was ignorant of lil b and the metaphor, no, motief that is attenting culinary school to become a top chef. i didn't get it. i lashed out in a fit of ignorance trying to strike down the way of life that was presented to us by the young based god, and as such i sincerely apologize for my otherworldly ignorance. this mistake will never be repeated.

btw, the beat off of watch tha drank on the first EP is ridiculous.
